VP, Strategic Accounts - Programmatic Media + Data Sales

UNTU is rapidly building out our Sales team, seeking a self-sufficient senior revenue generator who can hit the ground running within key brand-direct and agency categories including pharma, OTC, insurance, government, direct-to-consumer, and beyond.

  • The VP, Strategic Accounts will be a mission-critical Sales leader, highly influential over product, execution, attack strategy, and GTM, with latitude to evolve as the team grows
  • Initially, this will be an individual contributor role focused on new business, while also being highly collaborative across teams. As business scales, we expect avenues will emerge for hunting to become farming, and playing to become coaching
  • This person will have high visibility to, and active support from, senior management to drive trial, adoption, and renewal of our solutions

Your Background:

  • 8+ of digital media, SaaS, programmatic platform sales, or agency-side business development, with 5+ years exposure to the health vertical
  • Articulate, energetic trailblazer comfortable engaging brand-direct and agency stakeholders while owning complex sales cycles end-to-end
  • Healthcare category fluency (primarily DTC):
    • Experience with endemic health publishers and digital platforms
    • Familiarity with competitive targeting and activation offerings including Crossix, IQVIA, Symphony, PulsePoint, Swoop, DeepIntent, Medicx etc
    • Knowledge of back end measurement, eg NRx, script lift, cost-per-diagnosed patient, audience quality, as well as direct response
    • Solid understanding of pharmaceutical marketing lifecycle: clinical trials, pipeline-phase III, FDA approval and PDUFA, disease state awareness, branded launch, and late stage sunset through patent expiry into generics
  • Ad tech fluency:
    • Competence with major DSP’s, SSP’s, onboarding, and analytics platforms
    • Ability to influence and steer campaign setup and optimization in partnership with trading teams
    • Proven analytics chops creating compelling stories using data
    • Working knowledge of DMP/CDP, brand-side 1st party data strategy, segmentation, enrichment, and identity resolution a plus
  • Relationships:
    • Mature rolodex of brand, agency, and B2B contacts
    • Track record of tenacious prospecting and new business development
  • Cross-team leader, mentor, and problem-solver across pre-sales, marketing, campaign fulfillment, analytics, and operations
  • Detail-oriented forecasting and pipeline manager
